“Slice of the pie”: Eliminating shortage mentality

No.1 Business Life Myth: There is not enough to go around.

We have been conditioned to hoard what we have and hold on to it like it’s the only thing that will ever be available to us. And if we lose it? Well, we’re just shit out of luck.

No one really is to blame for this I suppose – we live in a fear-based society where every other day we are facing some sort of crisis. It’s only natural that we’ve shifted into ego consciousness as a form of protection; always needing to win, be better, get more.

Our ego worries about living up to an external standard and fears failure.

We have a fear of not getting our fair slice of the pie, but who determined that there was a pie in the first place with a pre-determined amount of slices up for grabs? [and like, what flavour of pie are we talking about here? 😛🥧]

If we focus on shortage and limitation then we are focusing on lack, so if you think we live in a world of “not enough“, you will experience just that – never having enough. But if you believe we live in a world of abundance, you will experience abundance. It’s as simple as choosing how you want to see things, but more importantly, deciding how you want to feel:

We have access to unlimited abundance, but our limiting thoughts block the stream of it flowing to us. We need to teach our children that we can be anything – that there is always a place for each one of us and limitless pie.

All we need is BELIEF. And a belief is just a thought you keep thinking.
